Brown Thrasher(Toxostoma rufum)Where: Goode, VA • Ranchette Dr. Notes: I happened upon this Brown Thrasher nest along a neighbors fence row. It seemed as if one of the adults always stayed in the immediate nest area while the other foraged for food. I was amazed at the amount of visible change in the chicks size and growth there was from one day to the next. As I had done before, I set the camera on a tripod and fired it remotely from a blind at a distance, to avoid desturbing the nest area.
