Notes: This bird always brings back fond memories of my youth, I once tried to raise a fledgling Gray Catbird chick when I was about 10 years old. Earlier this season I had been ready to shoot another nest, but to my disappointment, a thunder storm knocked it out of the tree the night before I was going to begin taking pictures. The adults from this shoot were surprisingly sceptic to have me anywhere near the nest. Even at well over 40 feet away and behind a hedge row, I had to set up a blind before they return to feeding their young instead of fussing at me.
