You may recognize the Black Dog Salvage name from the TV show Salvage Dawgs, which ran 11 seasons with 143 episodes on the DIY Network. Their amazing 40,000 sq. ft. store in Roanoke, Virginia offers a vast array of vintage treasures, recovered and up-cycled, from years of their efforts to save history from the wrecking ball. The facility contains an eclectic collection of architectural salvage, intertwined with a mixture of regional artist’s work. Special thanks to Koiner, Mike, Robert, and the whole Salvage Dog crew for the opportunity to share my work in Southwestern Virginia.
